New student registration is held the entire month of February at the Student Enrollment Center located at 3100 S. Alaska (on Beacon Hill). Their phone number is (206) 252-6800.

Kindergarten registration requires a birth certificate (child needs to be 5 years of age by August 31 of the start year), an up to date immunization record and proof of your address (a utility bill, driver's license, or rent receipt is suitable).

Pre-registration Orientations

Lafayette will be holding its pre-registration orientations on the following dates for the 2005/2006 year:

January 5, 10, 12, 19, 24, 26
February 2, 7, 9, 14, 16, 28

Orientations are preferably for parents only (please; no children or siblings), and will be held from 9:30a.m. to 11:00a.m. The visit will consist of an introduction to Lafayette, questions & answers, tour of the school and a short classroom visit in the grade level of your choice.
