How do I send an email to the list?
Send your email to lafayette@mylafayettemail.org. You must be a member of the list in order to receive emails from other subscribers.
What is this?
Signing up for this email list will allow you to send and receive emails with others on the list. The list is a service to which an email is sent and then delivered to any that have signed up for it. You can sign up multiple times (home and work) and anyone else, such as family and neighbors, can sign up as well. You can also unsubscribe at any time, so you are not locked into anything.
When should I send an email to the list?
Please use this list with care. Do not use it for sending out jokes or to try and drum up business. Remember that EVERYONE on this list will receive what you send and that we don't want to lose anybody due to tiresome submissions. Please use it when you have a need to convey information that would be of interest to those at Lafayette. The usual rule of thumb for these lists is to subscribe and watch the messages in order to get a feel for what is appropriate.
How do I reply to an email from the list?
You can use the standard "Reply" option on your email if you wish your reply to go only to the sender. If you wish to reply to the entire group, you will have to use the "Reply All" option.
