Room 24 - Ms. McBeth

My name is Sheila McBeth. I am so glad to be in teaching at Lafayette Elementary School in the Second Grade. I am a Seattle native and graduated from Franklin High School. I received a Bachelor’s of Science from the University of Washington and worked as a Microbiologist in public health and food manufacturing. At Seattle University I earned a Masters in Teaching and have been a substitute teacher in Seattle Public Schools. With this wealth of experience and knowledge, I will bring a balance of learning in the classroom. I will create a safe learning environment meeting all children at their intellectual level. I now live by Greenlake with my husband Don and two ancient cats Jasper and Peaches. My daughter Max now attending Evergreen State College, is a Seattle Public Schools Graduate.
